3 Gunmen Wanted In Downriver Radio Shack Robbery

LINCOLN PARK (WWJ) - Three crooks who stole 13 iPhones from a Downriver Radio Shack are on the run — and a cash reward is being offered for the tip that leads to their capture.

According to Crime Stoppers, the three men were toting semi-automatic weapons when they forced employees into a storage area at gunpoint before taking off with the phones.

The crime took place at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. at the small electronics store near Southfield and Dix roads in Lincoln Park.

The suspects, whose photos were captured on a security camera, were all dressed in dark clothing — one of them sporting what authorities described as a "security type jacket." No further description of the suspects was released.

There were no injuries reported.

An investigation by Lincoln Park Police is ongoing.
