10 Mile Road Closed After Hit-And-Run Crash Knocks Out Traffic Lights
WARREN (WWJ) - Authorities say a busy intersection in Warren is going to be shut down for hours after a hit-and-run crash knocked out power to the traffic lights.
Both directions of 10 Mile Road at Mound Road are expected to be shut down until about noon Friday. Traffic on 10 Mile Road is being forced onto Mound Road.
Utility crews are currently on the scene, working to fix the issue.
Police said a vehicle crashed into a unit that controls power for the traffic lights, and the driver fled the scene.
