Secretary Of State Launches Upgraded Branch Office Locator

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - The Michigan Secretary of State is utilizing the latest in online mapping technology in its newly upgraded branch office locator.

The new branch office locator features cutting-edge Web-based mapping to provide personalized directions to an office from a customer's location. The function is also now optimized for mobile devices.

"Our new Branch Office Locator uses modern online mapping technology to allow you to more easily find an office near you," said Secretary of State Ruth Johnson said in a release. "While most of our most popular services can be done through the mail or online at www.ExpressSOS.com, the new locator is ready to serve you if you do need to visit an office."

The office locator service - which draws more than 2 million visitors a year - also allows customizable searches for services including as offices with Saturday hours, Self-Service Stations that are open 24 hours a day and offices that feature get-in-line-online MI-TIME Line service.

In addition to improving the office locator, Secretary of State office locations and hours of operation to Google Maps, Johnson stated in a release.

Secretary of State offices, along with state parks and other government office locations, are available on the MiPage mobile application for smart phones and tablets. The app is available on both the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.
