Routine Traffic Stop Nets Tires Allegedly Nicked From Car

WESTLAND (WWJ) - During a routine traffic stop police find tires and a floor jack in the back of a car exiting an apartment complex in Westland and it appears they were not far from a car that happened to be missing four tires.

Authorities soon discovered a car placed on blocks - with tires missing from The Landing Apartments -- the complex the car was exiting.

Police arrested the driver, Dwayne Simmons, 27, and Roderick Cadwell, 25, both from Detroit.

Both suspects were arraigned and are to appear back at the 18th District Court on February 5.
