DDOT Bus Driver Arrested For Allegedly Hitting Female Passenger

DETROIT (WWJ) - A DDOT bus driver is under arrest for allegedly hitting a woman passenger on his bus.

The Wayne County Sheriff reports that the incident began near the Wayne County Community College at Outer Driver and the Southfield reports WWJ's Sandra McNeill.

The driver told three remaining passengers on the bus that it was the end of the line and they needed to get off.

The three passengers got off, but began arguing with the driver.

That's when he allegedly pulled one of the woman back on the bus and began a physical altercation.

A deputy patrolling the campus witness the driver hit the woman. It's not yet known what charges he will face.
