CBS DETROIT - The Detroit Lions re-signed backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky on Monday, the same day they announced they would not be using the franchise tag to restrict the movement of All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

The move to retain Orlovsky was hardly a monumental one, but Orlovsky made it a bit more memorable with a hilarious tweet in which he expressed excitement about his return.

Orlovsky began his career with the Lions, who drafted him in the fifth round in 2005. Over the span of his career, he has played in 21 games, has completed 58.5 percent of his passes, and has thrown 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
