Judge Yanks Bond For Man Convicted Of Making Campus Threats

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - A former Western Michigan University student convicted of making threats about a campus shooting is in jail after the government said he made another threat.

Federal prosecutors say Timothy Siangdun posted a threat on Western Michigan's Facebook site last week, warning parents to get life insurance for their kids because "somebody is really going to shoot."

The government says the threat was posted on Feb. 26, the same day the Battle Creek man was convicted of making online threats back in 2013. Siangdun had been ordered to stay off social media.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Phillip Green revoked his bond Monday.
Siangdun will get his sentence on June 4. He's a former engineering student.
