DETROIT (WWJ) - Homicide investigators in Detroit are searching for two men who gunned down a 45-year-old store owner on the city's east side.

The incident unfolded just after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Linn Bonn Flea Mart on East 7 Mile Road near Dequindre.

According to police, two men entered the store and inquired about making a purchase. At some point, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking the store owner in the chest. The suspects then fled the scene.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not yet been released.
