Macomb Community College Students Will See Tuition Increase For Fall 2015

MACOMB (WWJ) - The Macomb Community College Board of Trustees has authorized tuition rates for the fall 2015 through spring/summer 2016 semesters.

The tuition rate for residents will increase by $2.50, setting the in-district rate at $94 per credit hour, a 2.7% increase.

For a Macomb student attending full time, this will result in a total increase of $77.50 for their entire academic year (based on 31 credit hours).

Macomb's tuition rates still remain well below average among the state's community colleges, even though most of the other 27 colleges have not yet set tuition for the upcoming academic year.
