Former Lions WR Mike Williams Is Now High School Football Coach

In 2005, the Detroit Lions used the 10th overall draft pick on USC WR Mike Williams.
The pick was odd to say the least. Williams sat out his entire junior season at USC after he tried to enter the 2004 NFL Draft. He hired an agent, which therefore made him ineligible at USC.
As a rookie, Williams played in 14 games while starting one.
Williams was traded after his second season with the Lions to the Oakland Raiders with Josh McCown for a fourth round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft in which the Lions used to draft A.J. Davis.
Williams went on to play for the Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawks and finished his career with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL even though he never appeared in a game for them.
Now at 31, Williams is still in football but has transitioned into coaching.
According to the LA Times, Williams football coach at Locke High School in Los Angeles.
Williams' former college coach and now the head coach for the Seattle Seahawks, gave him a great recommendation.
"I'm excited to get to work," Williams said according to the LA Times.
