Teen Mom Disappears With 4-Month-Old Son On Trip To Doctor's Office
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are hoping the public can help locate a 17-year-old girl who vanished nearly two weeks ago with her 4-moth-old baby while on their way to a doctor's appointment.
Police say Davine West was last seen on Sunday, March 22 with her son Samuel at their home in the 7600 block of Westwood Street, in a neighborhood near Warren Avenue and Evergreen Road.
According to police, West told family members she was leaving to take Samuel to a doctor's appointment. Neither West nor the baby have been seen since.
West is described as a black female, 5'2" tall and approximately 152 lbs. with a medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jeans and black gym shoes. She was carrying her son in a white baby carrier.
Samuel is described as a black male with a light complexion.
Anyone who might have seen or who has any other information on the whereabouts of West and her son are urged to contact police at 313-596-5600.
