Police Arrest Suspect In Connection With Robbery Of Party Store In Monroe

MONROE (WWJ) - Authorities in Monroe County have arrested a suspect, linked to an armed robbery in Bedford Township.

Monroe County Sheriff Dale Malone says Ella's Party Store was the target just before 11 o'clock Sunday morning.

The suspect entered the store and pulled out a small handgun and demanded cash.

The cashier put an undermined amount of money in a bag and the suspect fled the scene on a white car.

Shortly after 7 a.m. Monday authorities released a statement saying they had a suspect in custody.
