FBI: Child Sexual Exploitation Investigation Lead May Be 'John Doe 29'

DETROIT  -- Law enforcement officials are seeking information which can lead to the identification of an unknown individual known as "John Doe 29."

Authorities believe John Doe 29 may have critical information relating to the identity of a young victim of sexual exploitation.

Images containing John Doe 29 first came to the attention of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January of 2008.

If you have information about, John Doe 29, who is described as a male with a tan complexion, likely between the ages of 30 and 45, with dark hair, you are asked to contact a Crimes Against Children Investigator at your local FBI office, or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.

Additional images relevant to the investigation include those depicting the individual wearing a silver ring on his left ring finger, the victim may be wearing blue and white Velcro Nike brand tennis shoes, authorities say the background where the images were taken could be an important factor. John Doe 29 is seen wearing a white, black, and red shirt with what appears to be a design and/or writing on the sleeves.
