Iglesias' Incredible Over The Shoulder Catch Wow's Indians Broadcaster Tom Hamilton
The Tiger's shortstop Jose Iglesias amazed just about everyone who saw his brilliant play on a pop-fly Sunday vs. the Cleveland Indians. Miguel Cabrera homered and drove in two runs in the 8-6 victory, but with only a two run lead at the time, the Tigers had Yoenis Cespedes playing deep in left field to prevent a double.
The Indians' Mike Aviles' pop up was headed for the left field gap. Jose Iglesias motors to make the catch. Cespedes also hustles to the spot, but doesn't call off Iglesias.
MLB posted a video compiling the calls from TV and both radio stations. WTAM broadcaster and voice of the Cleveland Indians Tom Hamilton loves the play and has the most energetic reaction by a long shot at the 1:11 mark.
At the last second Iglesias who has a step or two on the left fielder makes a swipe to nab the ball and lets out a giant breath in relief.
