Someone is having a laugh at the expense of Stéphane Quintal. The NHL Vice President of Player Safety's Wikipedia page was edited Wednesday afternoon. The paragraph on Director of Player Safety has a suspicious sentence appended, "He is said to be the worst VP in the history of the sport following the suspension of Niklas Kronwall in the playoffs."

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall is suspended for game 7 of the first round vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning for a hit on forward Nikita Kucherov.

The decision to suspend Kronwall is controversial since penalties and suspensions haven't been levied consistently on similar hits in the past.
