Limited Edition Detroit Tigers Foundation Bow Tie On Sale Now
DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers Foundation Bow Tie is back for a second year. Together with FOX Sports Detroit, the BowTie Cause Foundation and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, are proud to offer a new limited edition bow tie to benefit youth baseball in the greater Detroit community. Bow ties are available now for $57 at tigers.com/bowtie.
This year's bow tie design features the club's signature colors in a pattern comprised of overlapping blue home plates and orange crossed baseball bats. The first 366 bow ties are numbered on the back, each representing a regular season win during the team's four consecutive American League Central Division Championships from 2011-2014.
The Detroit Tigers are the first major league team to partner with the BowTie Cause Foundation to produce a charitable bow tie. Proceeds from the sale of the bow ties will benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation and Project One Four Foundation.
