Anibal Sanchez And Detroit Tigers Launch Sanchez's Little Smiles

DETROIT- Through the generosity of Tigers pitcher Anibal Sanchez and his wife, Ana, the Detroit Tigers is proud to launch Sanchez's Little Smiles.The Sanchez family will invite 19 guests to attend a Tigers baseball game in grand fashion through their new program. The special evening begins with the opportunity to watch batting practice from the field and meet Sanchez and continues with tickets to the Sanchez family's suite, including ballpark fare catering, Sanchez's Little Smiles t-shirts and an autographed photo signed by Sanchez.

Sanchez's Little Smiles provides families the opportunity to escape their daily hardships and enjoy an evening together while watching Tigers baseball at Comerica Park.

The participating families are selected in partnership with local charitable organizations focused on serving the needs of families faced with the challenges of caring for children with health concerns and other adversities.

"My wife, Ana, and I are proud to partner with local charities that serve children facing adversity," said Anibal Sanchez. "We hope this program brings smiles big and little to children and families in the greater Detroit community."

Sanchez's Little Smiles will host children and families on select dates throughout the season. The charitable partners of the program are Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation - craniofacial unit, Coalition on Temporary Shelter (COTS), Ronald McDonald House of Detroit and Variety - the Children's Charity.

To launch the program, families from Children's Hospital of Michigan – craniofacial unit will attend tonight's game as the Tigers take on the Milwaukee Brewers at 7:08 p.m.
