DETROIT - Walking around the Detroit Tigers clubhouse before Thursday's game against the Houston Astros, shortstop Jose Iglesias sported the newest piece of team apparel - a shirt adorned with the face of manager Brad Ausmus over the word "Dreamy" with an old English D.

Ausmus said he suspected veteran catcher Alex Avila bought and distributed the shirts, but he was not sure.

"I think it was Alex - that's my guess," Ausmus said before the game. "He boldly walked into the room the other day wearing it in front of me. I'm assuming that was his way of bragging."

Ausmus said his wife saw tweets about the shirt and asked where the shirts came from, but Ausmus said she does not plan on ordering one.

"Hers would say 'Nightmare,'" Ausmus joked. "It wouldn't say 'Dreamy.' It would say 'Nightmare.'"

The shirt can be purchased for $26 through the website Etsy. The description of the shirt reads, in all capital letters, "Only slightly better looking than Jim Leyland."
