Huron Valley Teacher Placed On Leave Pending Investigation Alleging Inappropriate Behavior

MILFORD (WWJ) – A teacher at Huron Valley schools has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

Kim Root, the District’s spokesperson, tells WWJ Newsradio 950 that parents have been notified of the investigation.

“This afternoon we sent a message via our Skyword program … to all of our Huron Valley school families informing them that we’ve been notified of allegations regarding a current teacher in HVS having an alleged inappropriate  relationship with a former student,” said Root.

“We are doing an internal investigation on that – it is not a criminal investigation at this point – but again our investigation is not complete, so it may involve that,” she said.

The district is not revealing the identity of the teacher, student or the school.
