Driver Walks Away Uninjured From Car - Train Accident In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police continue investigating a car - train accident that happened Thursday evening on Detroit's east side.
Detroit police spokesperson June West tells WWJ, a woman driving a Jeep Cherokee, the wrong way, on a road near the Chrysler Plant near Kercheval and St Jean, was hit by an oncoming train.
The Jeep rolled over three times, before coming to a stop.
The woman in the Jeep was not injured. The Jeep was totaled.
No word from police if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
