Former MSU Player Garrick Sherman Rants On Twitter, Says Half Izzo's Team Smokes Weed, Claims He Helped Summers Fake Drug Test

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) What's a basketball player to do after the season ends?

Drinking is apparently an option, and heavily, we would guess.

Garrick Sherman, a former Michigan State and Notre Dame center, who plays now for BC Dinamo Tbilisi in the Georgian Superliga, apparently had some time on his hands when the Dinamo lost to MIA Academy in the Final.

So he decided to use that time on social media.

In his defense, the first Tweet in his rant did say he had been drinking. He went on to talk about Kurt Cobain and Taylor Swift -- but that's not the best stuff for MSU fans.

Sherman Tweeted that at the Final Four Tom Izzo instructed him "not to f*** embarrass myself in front of a crowd bigger than my hometown after I airballed a shot."

Even more inflammatory, Sherman Tweeted that he "pissed in a condom" and gave it to Durrel Summers to pass a drug test." He added the hashtag #suckitNCAA and #Stillwenttothefinalfour.

He went on to infer that all the top players in the NCAA couldn't pass drug tests, writing, "NCAA could do hair test any day of the week and actually be a real organization but who would wanna take the top 25 players from the tourney."

Sherman added that Izzo will hate him more when he "loses scholarships cause I drunkenly spilled half his team smoked weed."

He deleted the Tweets, but luckily for you they were screen shot. See them all HERE.

Did he have any "morning after" remorse? No, he says.

At least he cleared that up.
