Reports: Man Kills Wife In Front Of Their 2 Young Children
CLARKSTON (WWJ) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Office has a man in custody who, according to reports, killed his 30-year-old wife in front of their two young children.
The situation unfolded around 5:15 p.m. Friday at the couple's home in the 6000 block of Cheshire Park, in a neighborhood along Sashabaw Road south of I-75 in Independence Township.
Reports indicate the woman was bludgeoned to death by her husband. He was taken into custody at the scene.
The children, ages 2 and 6, were not physically harmed and are currently in the care of relatives.
According to reports, police have recently been called to the home multiple times for domestic issues.
Names of those involved have not yet been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
