Rajai Davis Rejoins Tigers Following Birth Of Son

CHICAGO (AP) — Rajai Davis is back in the Detroit Tigers' lineup after missing five games because of the birth of his son.

The proud dad was leading off and playing center field against the Chicago White Sox on Friday after being activated from the paternity list.

To make room for Davis, the Tigers optioned outfielder Daniel Fields to Triple-A Toledo following Thursday's game against Oakland.
