If you think you are a "Michigan Man" and have what it takes to live up to Jim Harbaugh's high, high standards then I have the job for you!
The University of Michigan has a job opening on their website for: Director of Internal Communications and Operations for the Head Football Coach.
All you need is a cover letter that addresses your "specific interest" and outline your skills that relate to the position.
Your responsibilities will include:
Produce content needed by head coach for team meetings
Complete special projects as assigned by head coach, including family engagements
The required qualifications are:
Knowledge of the following software programs: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite particularly InDesign, Photoshop and PowerPoint.
Ability to work weekends during competitive season(s).
On-call availability and periodic overtime.
Unplanned activities/other duties as assigned.
You will also need to have a background check.
I think I should apply for this job and be Harbaugh's mini me. I'd have to make sure to stay out of the sun for awhile.
Could you imagine the hours you would have to work to make that guy happy? I would also assume you have to press his khakis, fold his blue sweatshirts and also maybe start tweeting out obnoxious tweets.
