German Auto Supplier Investing $71M, Adding 570 Jobs In Michigan

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP (AP) - Michigan officials say that auto industry supplier ZF North America Inc. is investing about $71 million and adding about 570 jobs at its site in the Detroit suburb of Northville Township.

The Michigan Economic Develop Corp. said Tuesday that the company is adding about 210,000 square feet of floor space at the western Wayne county location.

The state says that the Michigan Strategic Fund approved up to $4 million in incentives.

ZF North America is a subsidiary of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, which is based in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The company makes driveline and chassis components.
