In Celebration Of Gay Marriage, City Of Ferndale And HopCat Offer Deals

In celebration of the Supreme Court officially ruling gay marriage legal in all fifty states, HopCat beer bar is running an amazing drink special, and the city of Ferndale is throwing open its doors inviting all to come down for food, drink and retail deals, and more.

In addition, starting at 4 p.m. today, bar-goers can get half off all draft beer, wine and cocktails! It's a great deal for fans of crack fries, and well, fans of being in a bar with lots of other people on Friday night.

The Grand Rapids-based chain, which opened a Detroit location this past year, made the announcement on Facebook earlier this afternoon:
"We've decided to throw a big 'ole party to celebrate marriage equality and today's historic Supreme Court decision! Everyone is invited to enjoy HALF OFF all draft beer, wine and cocktails at HopCat tonight (Friday), all night, beginning at 4 p.m."

They capped off their post with the hashtag #lovewins.
