3 Bodies Found In Southwest Detroit Appartment

DETROIT (WWJ) --Police are investigating after three bodies were found in a Detroit apartment on Friday.

Sergeant Cassandra Lewis said that officers arrived after 11 p.m. on Friday, where they found three bodies at the apartment on Hubbard near W. Grand Blvd and Vernor Hwy. Police found a 38-year-old man, as well as another unidentified man and a woman. All three victims suffered from gunshot wounds.

Neighbors heard gunshots Thursday night, but no one contacted police at that time. Police say that the shooting may have occurred during a robbery.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide.

Police Captain Darren Szilagy says it is common for Detroit residents to hear gunshots, but is urging people to immediately call for help when they hear them.
