It's a new week, new HOHs and new target in the Big Brother house. After the houseguests eliminated Jace, there seemed to be a pretty clear choice as to who would be evicted next. Would this be a repeat of the first week? Having four pawns to backdoor the actual target? This, however, is Big Brother — so you can expect the unexpected!

Here's my recap for last night's episode...

Audrey's Lies Catch Up

It was pretty clear after the live eviction ceremony on Thursday that the main target for the house is Audrey. In the first week she went into the house playing hard and fast. Audrey was quick to make alliances, manipulate others and be in many conversations in the house. Now that her lies and deception have caught up, Audrey's new strategy is to "play dead."

I do have to commend Vanessa in her gameplay because she wanted to make sure her name wasn't being thrown around as a possible target. In doing so she helped show Audrey's true colors, DaVonne to call Audrey out in a small house meeting and make sure Audrey was the target for the week. Vanessa had no worry in being a target for this week. If she plays her cards right she may see herself sitting in the finale. It's only week two, finale is weeks away with many twists and turns to come along the way.

Shelly & Becky's Plan

After being crowned HOHs the two ladies had a heart to heart conversation as well as game play. It was clear that Becky's plan was to eliminate the problem in the house being Audrey. Shelli was on board as well but has her sights on DaVonne more than Audrey. Isn't it ironic that after the first day this "female alliance," has already crumbled apart and its every lady for themselves. Not only is the alliance kaput, Shelli's new allegiance lies with Clay. This is why a female alliance never works out, they play way into their emotions and somehow even though the ladies are in power, it seems as though there are boys running this house this week. I hope these ladies realize they need to be some independent women and get rid of the boys before they get rid of them.

I enjoyed DaVonne's tenacity this episode because she was not having it with Audrey's lies. However playing the game with high emotions can backfire. The nominations were set and I was 75% correct in my predictions. I was surprised to see John be the pawn instead of Jackie. Becky's nominations were way too predictable in Steve and Jason. Jason because he nominated to evict her last week and Steve because they haven't really talked game with each other. Meanwhile, Shelli's nominations were no surprise either but I did enjoy Clay's "put me up with DaVonne," attempt when Shelli knew well that wasn't a good idea. It's pretty clear there will soon be a segment of a showmance between Shelli and Clay but we'll just have to wait a few weeks. John's nomination came with a deal in that Clay, Shelli and Jeff would work to ensure his safety. John took this information and contemplated the offer.

Lights, Camera, BOTB

Ginger Fever continued this week during the BOTB competition. The nominated houseguests worked as pairs to correctly align cameras with items that needed to be in a shot. John's offer from Shelli was that if he threw the BOTB competition he would get safety and that DaVonne would get evicted. Steve and Jason however wanted to make sure they got themselves off the block and safety this week. The strategies were completely different from the other. DaVonne's strategy was to turn on all the cameras then point them to the corresponding item. While Steve & Jason's strategy was to turn on two cameras at a time not to cause any confusion as to which camera was which.

John was literally dead weight in the competition and DaVonne soon figured this out during the competition. John tried his best to make it look like he was trying but he made no effort to try to win. Steve & Jason were working like a well-oiled machine and won BOTB. With the win, Becky was dethroned as HOH and Shelli remained in power. DaVonne and John remained on the block so if either one of them wants to guarantee their safety this week, they would need to win the POV for themselves.

Prediction for POV

Here's hoping DaVonne can knock out a win in the POV. But I'm not going to count out the Dentist out of the competition. John may have thrown the BOTB competition; I don't believe he would throw the POV. Shelli will try her hardest to win but I don't see her winning the POV. I only see the POV being used if either DaVonne or John wins; otherwise hopefully one of them will get "the last laugh," at eviction.

Tune in on Wednesday 8pm on CBS Detroit 62 to see who will win the POV, if any of the houseguests start to wonder what the "twist" is for this week's BB Takeover by Kathy Griffin and what other shenanigans these houseguests get into.
