Detroit Sports Teams And Elected Officials Join In Women's World Cup Celebrations

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - The U.S. Women's National Team's 5-2 victory over Japan captivated the nation and Detroit-area sports teams.

Twitter was buzzing with tributes to the team which captured its third World Cup title, including posts from the Detroit Red Wings:
