Tips Sought In Case Of Mom, 6-Year-Old Son Missing Since Traveling To Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking for help to locate a Louisiana woman and her 6-year old son who haven't been seen for a week.

Reba Johnson, 53, and her son Jordan Haynie were last seen on Independence Day — Saturday, July 4 — boarding an Amtrak train headed from Chicago to Detroit.

Family members are concerned because Johnson takes medication for both mental and physical health issues, and she left all of it at home in Louisiana.

Johnson is described as a black female, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds. She has a dark brown complexion,  large build, short brown hair with blond highlights, brown eyes, and tiny moles on her face. H

Jordan is a black male, around 4 feet, 5 inches tall and 45 pounds with a light brown complexion, thin build, short faded hair and brown eyes. He has a speech impediment and may have an Ironman or Spiderman toy with him.

Investigators believe the pair made it to Detroit and are in the area.

Anyone who has seen Johnson or Jordan or who may know where they are is asked to call Detroit Police Criminal Investigations at 313-596-1301.
