Stoney's Play Of The Day

I need to get ready for football season. I need my training camp. There is no better way to get ready for the gambling of the pigskin than 6 weeks of baseball. Starting today I will give you my play of the day.

Tonight we head to Kansas City where the Royals are a -127 favorite against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pittsburgh is starting A.J. Burnett while the Royals counter with Yordano Ventura. Burnett has been very good this season with a 2.11 ERA. He is good on the road as well,with a 5-1 record and a 2.70 ERA.

Ventura has struggled lately going 1-2 in his last 3 starts, with an earned run average over 7. For those reasons I will pick the Pirates.
