Tigers Recall LHP Ryan From Triple-A; Option INF Krauss
BOSTON (AP) — The Detroit Tigers recalled left-hander Kyle Ryan from Triple-A Toledo before Sunday night's game against the Boston Red Sox.
To open a spot on the roster, they optioned infielder Marc Krauss to Toledo.
Ryan pitched in eight games with the Tigers this season, going 1-2 with a 5.64 ERA.
Krauss was 5 for 33 since being claimed from Tampa Bay on July 6.
