After the Tigers traded David Price, Yoenis Cespedes and Joakim Soria in exchange for young prospects, lots of questions have been raised about the future of the organization. Will the club be able to maintain their "win now" mentality in the immediate future?

Bleacher Report published their MLB future rankings of where all 30 teams will stand 3 years from now.

They posted a projected lineup and rotation for each team based on the following criteria:

"A combination of each team's level of established big league talent, upside relative to young talent and expected payroll flexibility eventually determined where they fell in the rankings."

The Tigers ranked in the bottom 5 in all of baseball, checking in at #26 overall. They ranked 4th out of the 5 AL Central teams. The highest being the Minnesota Twins who ranked 5th.

Bleacher Report cited the Tigers huge contract obligations to Miguel Cabrera and Justin Verlander. Here is their evaluation of the 2018 team:

"Progression from the young pitchers and the long-term health and performance of both Verlander and Cabrera will both be huge X-factors, and they're big enough question marks to knock the Tigers down these rankings."

The top 4 teams were the Dodgers, Cubs, Astros and Pirates.

Do you expect the Tigers to be a bottom 5 team in the baseball 3 years from now?
