Michael Moore's Former Torch Lake Vacation Home On Market For $5.2M [VIRTUAL TOUR]

CENTRAL LAKE (WWJ/AP) - Filmmaker Michael Moore's former vacation home in the Traverse City area is up for sale.

The 7,500 square foot home on Torch Lake in northern Michigan is on the market for $5.2 million. Broker Nancy Albrecht says she and another broker listed the property July 30.

"It's a beautiful house," Albrecht told The Flint Journal. "Pictures really can't show you all the property has to offer. It's an upper end property and a lot of well-known celebrities are in the market."

Albrecht said the home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and there's a guest cottage on the property. There are also five fireplaces, a gym and an art studio in the house. Don't want to take the stairs? No problem -- hop on the home's built-in elevator.

The property is owned by Moore's ex-wife Kathleen Glynn. He filed for divorce in 2013.
