U-M Hoops: TV, Tip Times Set For 2015 ACC/Big Ten Challenge

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- In conjunction with ESPN, the Big Ten and Atlantic Coast Conferences, the University of Michigan men's basketball team announced Tuesday a 7 p.m. tipoff time at N.C. State for the Wolverines' 2015 ACC/Big Ten Challenge match-up. The first of six games schedule for Wednesday, Dec. 1, U-M's game at PNC Arena will be televised on ESPN2.

Michigan is evenly split with N.C. State in the all-time series, 3-3. The last three series meetings have all occurred in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with the Wolverines holding the 2-1 advantage after two home wins -- 68-61 in 2003 and 79-72 in 2012 -- and a 74-67 loss at the RBC Center in 2006

Michigan has appeared in 14 of the 16 Challenges, holding a 6-8 all-time record. The Wolverines have a 4-3 home record, 1-5 road record and 1-0 neutral site. The Maize and Blue's lone road win was at Clemson, 69-61, during the 2010 Challenge series.

Last season, the Big Ten won eight of the 14 games to retain the Commissioner's Cups for the sixth straight year. The ACC won the previous 10 Challenge's from 1999 to 2008.
