Police: Missing Northville Township Woman May Be Suicidal

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) -- Northville Township Police are asking the public's assistance in locating a missing person who may be suicidal.

Susan Honjas, 40, is described as a white female with blue eyes and strawberry blond hair. She is 5-foot-9 and about 180 pounds.

Just after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, police received a call from a psychiatrist saying that she had received a text message from Honjas stating that she had taken all her pills and that she will not be found.

Police conducted a welfare check and found that Honjas was not at home, while police helicopters and K-9 units checked the surrounding area with no success.

Honjas was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue shorts, sandals and was wearing a yellow gold wedding band.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Northville Township Police Department at 248-349-9400.
