All the emotions were felt on Sunday's episode of Big Brother. But first, Shelli and Jackie are the first two-jury members to crown this season's winner. However one of them or a future evicted houseguest and jury member will get the chance to return into the game. So where was Stevie's head at when going through nominations? Who won HOH for the week? Let me recap for you last night's episode!

Steve's Emotional Short Reign

After moments from evicting Shelly into the jury house, the houseguest all competes in a rapid-fire trivia HOH, where prior to the competition took time and studied for. Steve was crowned the winner. While waiting for Julie Chen to ask for nominations from Steve, the other houseguests wanted to get in his ear. However Steve was set on his nominations. Then the POV ceremony happened and without any guarantee of who would be the replacement nominee would be John the winner of the POV decided not to use it in fear that Becky would be nominated. Finally sealing the fate for Jackie to be evicted. Before her exit she wanted to get some answers from Steve and he brings up how he was suppose to be a backdoor option in a previous week. In doing so there was some miscommunication and ultimately Jackie's downfall.

An emotional Meg, was up against a friend that she had to see go and Steve saw Meg as a weak player in the house ensuring nobody would want to vote her out. Steve confessed he didn't want to win HOH and was in emotional distress. For the sixth sense alliance, after losing Shelli and Clay they felt with Jackie's eviction was a shift in power. Both sides of the house knew Steve is a swing vote and getting him on his side was influence. Becky, James, John and Meg knew Vanessa was most likely he ear in his head. Which during a flashback in the season proves this theory. Vanessa and the twins were consoling Steve after his reign as HOH was cut short due to the double eviction. The sixth sense alliance knew they'd want to make sure if one of them won HOH they would protect Steve. A whole week of Big Brother was just done in 60 minutes and with that Steve's reign was a very short lived one.

Happy with Hearts Emoji For HOH

The battle for HOH was on as there was a clear divide in the house, where it was Austin, Julia, Liz and Vanessa vs. Becky, James, John and Meg. The completion was a bracket style tournament where they would answer a question pertaining to specific emojis that were displayed. The backyard was decorated with Emojis of last season's houseguests. As the outgoing HOH Steve hosted the event and through random draw selected which houseguests faced off one another.

It went James vs. Meg, Austin vs. John, Vanessa vs. Julia, and Becky vs. Liz for the first round. Then the final four consisted of Meg vs. John and Julia vs. Liz. John vs. Liz in the final two, where Liz correctly answered the question crowning her the new HOH. In being HOH, her twin sister Julia, her showmance Austin, and Vanessa were safe for the week. With Steve having protected the twins during the double eviction, Liz though it would be best to keep him safe this week as well. For Becky, James, John and Meg, it would be a pretty long night in figuring out whom Liz will put up for eviction.

Liz's Choice or Vanessa's Influence For Nominations

When the now defunct Sixth Sense alliance met, they wanted to have a new name for their foursome, which they've decided on "Austin's Angels." At least Austin's came to fruition unlike season 13's houseguest Keith who wanted to form his own alliance of females with him. If you don't remember Keith was the first houseguest to be evicted that season. Then Austin's Angels alliance created a side alliance with Steve named the, "Scamper Squad." The group wanted to include Steve because he will be the swing vote and usually goes with the house but as the numbers start to dwindle he will be choosing a clear side.

Becky, James, John and Meg are all certain that with Liz in power Vanessa would be highly influential in the nominations. Since Becky's reign as HOH failed to get rid of Vanessa, it is clear that she is her number one target. Liz surprisingly brought up Becky's name immediately without Vanessa having to plant the thought. The only difficult decision was who would be the "pawn," or how would the backdoor plan be a success. Ultimately it would be Liz's decision. As a side deal and hopefully a budding alliance Vanessa tries to clear the air with John from the altercation he may have had with both herself and Clay. Vanessa kept trying to tell John she trust him, while John was not buying her act and told Vanessa honestly about how he felt. In no surprise an emotional Vanessa, after their conversation which when nowhere, ran back to the HOH room to give insight to her alliance. Unbeknownst to her, John went right up to the HOH as she was explaining her side of the situation and asking for privacy. This poker player was getting caught in her emotions, which was something Becky tried to explain to Liz on how Vanessa is dangerous and cannot be trusted. Finally with the nomination ceremony Liz nominated John and Becky for eviction. Liz's speech was safe, commending them on their competitive nature winning or close to winning competitions and wished them both the best of luck for the POV. Both Becky and John are gunning for the Veto to hopefully take one of them off the block and to Vanessa be a backdoor option.

Prediction for POV

Little bit of a spoiler alert, the next POV competition brings back a classic POV character in the name of "Otev," which is veto spelled correctly. With that in mind it is anyone's game, as to finding the names of past houseguests this season will be like finding a needle in the haystack while simultaneously playing in a different. I think, as the winner of three POVs, I predict John will win it to save himself off the block. I would not be surprised if Becky won the POV either. Tune in on Wednesday at 8pm on CBS Detroit 62 to find out whether Becky or John can save one of themselves from the Big Brother house.
