24-Year-Old Schizophrenic Man Reported Missing In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 24-year-old schizophrenic man who has been missing for 10 days.

Police say Calvin Baker was last seen around 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 9 at his home in the 19100 block of Fleming, in an east side neighborhood near 7 Mile Road and Dequindre Street.

Baker is said to be in good physical condition, but he takes medication for bipolar disorder, paranoia and schizophrenia. Relatives say Baker has not taken is medications in a month and is also known to use illegal drugs such as marijuana.

Baker is described as a black male with a light complexion, 6'1" tall and 170 lbs., with a full beard and bad acne. He was last seen wearing a dirty black shirt, grey and black basketball shorts with red writing, blue jean pants and brown shoes.
