Judas makes a return this week as the number of houseguests continues to dwindle. But first, the battle for HOH was on its way when we last saw the houseguests. Meg was already eliminated in the first heat and six houseguests remained. It seems as though Liz is 93% sure now that she's no longer in a "nomance," but in a "showmance," with Austin. Here's my recap of everything that happened on last night's episode.

Austin's race to HOH

With the second heat about to begin, all the houseguests wanted to win this week's HOH ensuring their safety and having power this week in the house. Julia and Vanessa both false started in the second and third heats respectively. Then during the fourth heat, it was a battle of the guys and John was just not as quick as the rest. Steve false started in the fifth heat, leaving Austin and James to battle it out for HOH. James was determined to win HOH, while Austin was debating whether to throw it to James or win it. Liz gave an incentive that Austin couldn't seem to refused. If Austin won HOH, Liz would give him a smooch. As luck would have it Austin won the race to the button in the final heat against James and was crowned the new HOH for the week. Liz kept her word and gave a smooch to Austin.

All the Alliances

With Austin in power, the twins Liz and Julia were safe. However Vanessa's fate wasn't as clear since Austin has called her loyalty to question. But Vanessa has the twins on her side and she knows that Liz can convince Austin that Vanessa is better off being a number for them then a target. With that being said, Austin and the twins are in multiple alliances. They have an alliance with everyone in the house, but not all of which are together. There is "Austin's Angels," consisting of the twins, Austin and Vanessa; then there is the "Scamper Squad," with the twins, Austin, Vanessa and Steve; there is also an alliance with the twins, Austin, Steve and John; and finally an alliance with the twins, Austin, James and Meg. With all these alliances, Austin would have to betray one of these groups.

Who's The Real Target?

Austin made it clear that James and Meg would be safe this week to the rest of the house. He feels as though he can trust them both and by keeping them lessens the target on himself and the twins. This leaves only John, Steve and Vanessa up for consideration for eviction. John was an obvious choice for nominations, however it's unclear whether he's the actual target for Austin. Vanessa is another choice but Austin being to afraid of getting "blood on his hands," by evicting one of his own alliance members. But Vanessa flat out lied to Austin's face during a conversation during a "Scamper Squad," meeting in the HOH room when asked if she knew that James through the BOTB competition back in week five. The same week in the plan previously was to backdoor Austin himself. Vanessa did not confess and it made Austin furious. So keeping the option of Vanessa as a nomination was still in the air.

Vanessa however had a different agenda, making sure she was not put up and pushed for Steve to be put up along side John. The reason being he's closer to John and should be put up because he'd be a vote for John to stay if Vanessa were to sit along side him. A valid reason but not a good enough excuse, as Steve would be in the same predicament having to decide whom to save. But Vanessa kept manipulating her way through the conversation almost bullying Steve to just accept that he should be up on the block up with John. This didn't sit well with Steve nor did it make a valid argument for Austin to put him up over Vanessa. She wanted alone time with Austin but didn't get that until closer to the nomination ceremony. During her one on one with Austin she finally admitted to her knowing James through the competition and wanted to continue working with Austin. In doing so with some persuasion by Liz, kept Vanessa from being nominated, meaning John and Steve were nominated for eviction. Austin's speech was really weird and he wore his hat, which meant "Judas" was in the Big Brother house again. There is a possibility that Vanessa can still be put up and it now rests on the results of the POV competition.

My Prediction for POV

With the POV competition, we'll have the return of ZingBot! You can follow him right now on twitter @ZingBotOfficial to see some of the "ZINGs," he's already given to past houseguests. I predict that Vanessa will be chosen to play in the POV and win the competition. Ensuring there is not backdoor option to put her up on the block and not using the veto, leaving John and Steve up for eviction. However I don't see anyone using the POV unless Austin wins it. We'll just have to find out on Wednesday at 8pm on CBS Detroit 62 to find out which houseguests are chosen for the POV, what "ZINGs," ZingBot will dish out to the houseguests and whether the POV will be used to save either John or Steve from eviction.
