Michigan Football Fans Leave $3000 Tip At Utah Restaurant [PHOTOS]

The standard rate for gratuity on a food or drink bill is still 20 percent, right? These University of Michigan fans don't seem to think so.

Jim Harbaugh's Wolverines traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah for the first game of the season on Thursday, and a very generous part of the fanbase followed. Bourbon House in downtown Salt Lake City posted a photo to its Facebook page on Friday showing that one group of Michigan fans left a $3000 tip on a $505 bill.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, the server who received the tip was Breanne Snow, who waited on a group of fans wearing Michigan gear. The tip was paid for with an American Express Centurion Black Card and the cardholder wrote "@TipsforJesus" and "#GoBlue" on the receipt.

"I went and cried in the corner for a couple minutes," Snow told the Salt Lake Tribune.

"Tips for Jesus" has been in the headlines since 2013 when a $3,000 tip was left at a bar in Ann Arbor. The anonymous group takes pictures of servers after receiving the gratuity and posts them on Instagram.

Let's hope this doesn't put pressure on the rest of us to start leaving 600 percent tips.
