According to Jason Beck with MLB.com, the Tigers have called up four Triple-A Toledo players to the majors, including outfielder Steven Moya, infielder Jefry Marte, left-handed pitcher Ian Krol and infielder Josh Wilson.

Moya, Marte and Krol are on the 40-man roster. But Wilson needed Daniel Fields to be designated for assignment to open up a spot, according to Beck.

Moya has batted .240 this season, and is considered the top Tigers prospect in the minor leagues, according to MLB Pipeline. None of the four call-ups are considered within the top 100 prospects across the country, according to the same rankings service. Alongside that .240 batting average, Moya scored 53 runs, collected 30 doubles and 20 home runs, and struck out 162 times (which led the team). He also led the Mud Hens in RBI this year with 74.

Both Wilson (.252) and Marte (.275) had higher batting averages than Moya this season with Toledo. Wilson also had 30 RBI, 14 doubles, one triple and three home runs.

Marte led Toledo in 2015 slugging percentage, at .487, to go along with his 65 RBI (second on the team), 25 doubles, three triples, 15 home runs and 49 runs scored.

Of the four call-ups, Wilson had the most stolen bases with 10, followed by Marte with eight and Moya with five.

As for Krol, he pitched 31.1 innings for Toledo this season, allowing 21 hits and 10 runs (eight earned), walking 13 and striking out 34. He amassed a 2.30 ERA and 1-1 record.

Three of the four (Marte, Krol and Wilson) have all been called up to Detroit previously. Wilson hit .381 in 21 major league at-bats for the Tigers and Marte hit .250 in 52 plate appearances. Krol struggled when he got his previous call-up: He pitched 21.1 innings, amassed a 1-3 record and a 6.75 ERA, and struck out 22.

None of the call-ups has been officially announced by the Tigers, but Beck reported that they were expected to be made official on Tuesday.
