U-M Announces TV, Tip Times For Non-Conference Slate
ANN ARBOR -- In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference and its television partners, the University of Michigan men's basketball team has released today (Friday, Sept. 11) the game times and television designations for its 2015-16 non-conference schedule. The Big Ten conference television tip times and designations will be released over the coming week.
With the dates and opponents previously announced, Michigan will play one exhibition game as U-M head coach John Beilein faces his son, Patrick, and his Le Moyne Dolphins on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. (BTN Plus). The regular season begins with Northern Michigan on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., in a game that will be shown on BTN Plus.
The Wolverines will have three featured primetime tips starting with Xavier at 9 p.m. on BTN in the inaugural Gavitt Games with the Big East. U-M will also be featured in primetime at N.C. State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at 7 p.m. (ESPN2) and at SMU at 8 p.m. CST (ESPN2)
U-M plays three neutral site games at the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Michigan opens with UConn on Nov. 25 at 9:30 p.m. on AXS TV (281 HD, 382 Comcast). Playing in the lower half of the bracket the Wolverines will face either Charlotte or Syracuse in the second round on Nov. 26 at either 3:30 p.m. (ESPN) with a win or at 9:30 p.m. (AXS TV) with a first-round loss. The final game will be determined on U-M's record.
Michigan ends December playing five of its final six regular-season matchups at Crisler Center, including closing the night of a tripleheader day of basketball against Youngstown State on Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. (ESPN3) as well as the non-conference finale against Bryant on Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. (BTN).
