We are only ten days until the finale of this season of Big Brother. It's been a roller coaster of emotion, however Vanessa has been on full blast and kept placing all the bets. But first, with Steve as the outgoing HOH, power was back up for grabs. Plus we saw a luxury prize at stake, which was an opportunity to leave the Big Brother house. Here's my recap of last night's episode!

Over the Rainbow for HOH

The object of the competition was simple get 10 eggs over a rainbow course to win HOH. But the course was on a chicken wire and maneuvering the egg was a difficult task. Liz and Austin were trying their hardest to secure this HOH. In doing they would see themselves in the final three. However they had to beat John and Vanessa for the win. Liz was not having any success with the course and when the other competitors we ahead of her, she decided to go for the luxury prize, where she and a fellow houseguest would be able to leave the Big Brother house. Which before last season, it was back in season four when a houseguest left the house for a prize.

Vanessa, John and Austin were all really close in finishing. At some point during the competition each of them had a lead. The course would sometimes change the lead because of the difficulty going through the course and chicken wire. In the end Vanessa originally wasn't planning to win thinking she was safe was in the lead. Knowing if she didn't win was most likely the replacement nominee decided to go for the win and became the new HOH for he week.

Girls Night with Frankie & Ariana Grande

Frankie Grande from last season of Big Brother came back to surprise the houseguests. As luck would have it his sister Ariana Grande was performing at the Staples Center and the winner of the luxury prize along with another fellow houseguests would be accompanying him to the concert. But to make sure the two houseguests wouldn't be recognized he had his team of make up and hair artist on standby to give them a disguise. Liz being the winner opted in having a girl's night and selected Vanessa to accompany her to the concert, leaving her boyfriend Austin and the boys in the Big Brother house.

Paranoia of Showmances

After the concert, Vanessa knew she needed to come up with a game plan with nominations. Apparently two showmances were left in the house. John's DR comment was hilarious and true. When did Steve and John become a showmance? However for Vanessa they were a showmance and she was unsure where she stood for both. As her paranoia continued she wanted to get answers as to who had deals with whom. It was addressed that if Liz won HOH that if Steve were on the block and in the event of a tie, Liz would vote to keep Steve. In hearing this Vanessa assumed she'd be getting evicted. Vanessa was unsure who to trust more Liztin or Steve and John. She couldn't even remember a conversation she had with John about covering her alliance with John to Austin about making a deal with him. I'm not surprised at all how much her paranoia has gotten. But I guess since it's been getting her through this game, she's doing something right? However could this be her downfall? In the end she decided on putting John and Steve up for eviction, trusting Liz and Austin more.

My Prediction for Veto & Eviction

Tomorrow's special episode of Big Brother will be a good one! We'll see who will win POV and the houseguests will get a surprise as to an eviction. I predict John winning the POV and Vanessa having to choose a replacement nominee. I believe Vanessa will choose Liz as the replacement nominee and in a shocking tiebreaker vote, evict Liz so she can be the last woman standing with three guys left in the house. This would be a risky bet for Vanessa but I think this will happen. Tune for a special episode Tuesday on CBS Detroit 62 to see if John or Steve can win the POV and which houseguest is evicted before the final four! Finale is 10 days and I'm excited to see who will win! Plus don't forget to go to cbs.com/bigbrother to get more info about applying for next season!
