Last night's episode featured three former houseguests making a visit to the Big Brother House. It looks like Brenchel are having a little one of their own. So who knows maybe we'll see their offspring enter the house and find romance like his or her parents. But first the final four was in place and the final POV was the most important competition for the week. Plus we saw the reaction from the jury of the arrivals of Julia and Austin to the jury house. Here's my recap however of yesterday's episode!

The Aftermath of the Surprise Eviction

Vanessa tried to make amends with Liz. She was very emotional having to vote out Austin, even though she could have easily voted out to evict Steve. But apparently minutes before the eviction, Vanessa assured Steve he would be safe. Sure enough Vanessa kept to her word and voted to evict Austin. Liz however is not buying Vanessa's crying and feels literally alone in the house. Liz does however want to make it to finale to win and so will have to try and work with Vanessa.

A Bitter Judas

Seeing the jury surprised to see Julia and Austin was great. I liked how Julia was upset that Steve was the one to send her packing. Meanwhile Austin came barefoot to the jury house like he had been evicted from the Big Brother house. Shelli was defending Vanessa's game moves while Austin was still very bitter about his eviction. Clearly he wants to take revenge from being Judas'd and be the Judas to Vanessa's demise of winning. Hearing Meg starting to think about who should win was hilarious and I honestly forgot Becky was in jury. But with a week away from finale the power will soon be with the jury on deciding the winner.

A Ninja Battle for POV

Nominations were no surprise because all four houseguests knew that the POV would be the most crucial part of the week to survive and make final three. Steve did however nominate John and Vanessa for eviction. Finally saw her face light up on the memory wall. This would be her second time being nominated for eviction this season. That's pretty impressive but not a surprise from the poker player. Liz felt a little relieved which I personally think she should have felt more pressure to win the POV to ensure herself in the final three and vote out either John or Vanessa.

Caleb from last season made a surprise appearance during the POV competition. The houseguests had to karate chop their opponent with corresponding numbers to correctly guess questions Caleb had about events that happened this season. After each round the last person to answer the question correctly would get a strike. Two strikes and the houseguest would be out of the competition. I was surprised by how much these houseguests knew their days. But leading up to the finale, the houseguests would assume a memory-based competition would be coming. Liz was the first to be eliminated and then Steve. Leaving the two nominated houseguests to compete for the veto. Vanessa was quicker to answer correctly and won the POV.

The Dentist Checks Back In To Jury

Poor John McGuire, the 27-year-old Dentist from Scranton, PA. He was voted yet again out and this time by the sole vote of Vanessa. Though it did not come as a surprise to him and Julie was really grilling him on questions last night. John was impressed with how far he went in the game even though he did get evicted before. However this time there is not a third chance to get back in the house this season. So we'll have to wait and see how the other jury members react to his arrival during finale night.

My Ranking Of The Final Three

  • Vanessa - She's taken some very risky bets and went all in. She's won competitions when she needed to and manipulated her way to the final three. Vanessa should be scared however because if Steve and Liz realize they can't win against her then she'll be sent to jury if she does not win the final HOH.
  • Steve - Guaranteeing his own spot in the final three by winning HOH put up above Liz. But as the last man standing in the Big Brother house can he convince Liz he'd be a better pick to take to the final two than Vanessa.
  • Liz - Here's hoping Vanessa doesn't manipulate Liz. Liz has however earned her spot in the final three even though it was thanks to Vanessa. I would not be surprised to see her in the finale, but she'll need to prove why to jury whey she should win over Vanessa or Steve.

My Prediction for Final HOH Part One:

Here's hoping Sunday's episode isn't all about going back through the season. I hope they focus more on the final HOH part one competition. Which will sure be either endurance or a memory challenge. If it's an endurance, Vanessa has proven she can last longer then either Steve or Vanessa. Memory it'll be more about the time they finish to decide the winner and that's anyone's guess. But I predict the winner of the first competition will be Vanessa. This is because she'll then have more time to plot about how she can convince both Steve and Liz to take her over the other to the finale.

Tune in on Sunday at 8pm on CBS Detroit 62 to see what happens! Then don't forget next Wednesday is the finale, where all the houseguests will be back, America's Favorite Player will be crowned and we'll find out who the winner will be for Big Brother 17!
