Southgate Alternative High School In 'Secure Mode' After Reported Threat

SOUTHGATE (WWJ) - Police are investigating an incident at Asher Alternative High School.

Asher and nearby Davidson Middle School along Trenton Road are temporarily in "secure mode."

Students can move freely within the building, but there will be no outside activities.

Sources within the district tell WWJ Newsradio 950 that an Asher student made comments of a threatening nature, but police haven't confirmed that.
