Man Found With 350 Child Porn Videos On His Phone Sentenced To More Than 16 Years In Prison
FLINT (WWJ) -- A Flint man, with a prior conviction for sexually abusive activity involving a child, was sentenced to federal prison on Friday.
Following his guilty plea to possession of child pornography, United States Attorney Barbara L. McQuade says Jack Ford will serve more than 16 years behind bars. Ford was on parole after a conviction for sexually abusive activity involving a child.
"We have found a strong link between possession of child pornography and sexual abuse of children," McQuade said. "We are grateful for the partnership with the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office to remove child predators from our neighborhoods."
After receiving a tip, parole agents from the Michigan Department of Corrections went to Ford's home and found a phone with more than 350 videos of child pornography.
McQuade was joined by Genesee County officials and the FBI in prosecuting the case.
