3 Michigan Kids Who Ran Away From Home Found Safe

IONIA (WWJ) - Three children who were reported missing Tuesday in the Ionia-area have been found safe.

Ionia Police announced on its Facebook page that sisters 15-year-old Daisy and 11-year-old Lindsey Reitz, and 15-year-old Taven Daly are all safe. No further details about their recovery were released.

The kids were reported missing early Tuesday after leaving their homes 24 hours earlier. Michigan State Police Sgt. Scott Ziesman said the children were not abducted and that all left their homes of their own free will.

Police agencies posted the children's photos on social media in an attempt to locate them. Hours later, all three had been reunited with their families.
