A Mysterious Floating City Appeared In The Clouds Above China [VIDEO]

That was one crazy mirage! Hundreds of people in China recently witnessed what looked like a huge city floating in the clouds above. It wasn't just a single odd shaped cloud where people could debate whether it resembled a bunny or a bear. This formation REALLY looked like a grouping of dark grey skyscrapers!
Citizens shot video and took photos and generally freaked out. It only lasted for a few minutes, but theories started flying around the internet that it was a government conspiracy, NASA's secret "Project Blue Beam", or maybe even a portal to another dimension. But according to scientists, it was simply an optical illusion called a Fata Morgana.
A Fata Morgana is a mirage that is seen on land or sea in a narrow band right above the horizon. In this case, light was reflected from buildings in the distance and made them appear to float in the sky.
