U-M Football Player Dismissed From Team Faces Charges In Sex Video Scandal

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - A former University of Michigan football player is facing felony charges after he allegedly filmed himself having sex with a woman.

Ann Arbor Police Detective Lt. Robert Pfannes says the 19-year-old victim discovered that Logan Tuley-Tillman, 20, had used her phone to tape their intimate encounter last September.

Pfannes said Tuley-Tillman deleted the video, but the young woman saw it when she looked at her synced up iPad.

"He at the minimum sent the video to himself...used a device that was not his, and sent it to his own device," Pfannes told WWJ's Sandra McNeill.

The alleged victim told police the sex was consensual, but the videotaping by the 6-foot-7, 309-pound offensive tackle was not.

The Detroit Free Press reports woman's iPad showed a three-second video of muffled sounds and a 15-second video that clearly showed sex between the two.

"I think it's common for people to videotape or to send (provocative) photos of themselves on electronic devices, but I don't think it's incredibly common for people to do it without the other person's consent," Pfannes said.

Tuley-Tillman, who reportedly claims he was took drunk to remember making the video, was dismissed from the Michigan football program within a week of the incident, after speaking with detectives.

Pfannes said police do have proof that the video existed.

Tuley-Tillman, of Peoria, Ill., is facing charges of capturing/distributing an image of an unclothed person and using a computer to commit a crime, which carries a penalty of up to ten years in prison.

He's due back in court for a hearing on Nov. 9.
