Teen Dies From Wounds Suffered In Shooting

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Police say a 17-year-old boy has died after being shot in southwestern Michigan.

The Benton Township Police Department says officers responded Sunday afternoon to Blossom Acres Apartments and found the boy unconscious with an apparent gunshot wound.

Police say they tried to revive the boy but were unsuccessful. Police and the Berrien County Homicide Task Force are investigating.

The boy's name wasn't immediately released.
